Sarah Falkenberg-Hassan- Artist

China 2012 &
Switzerland 2013
Travelling through China I was given the oppurtunity to paint and teach workshops in Dali, Lijiang and Beijing. The work's vague titles allow the viewer to make thier own interpretations. Much inspiration was taken from China's ever growing population, elements of freedom and birth also played a great part. During a Semester abroad in Switzerland, Zurich I was able to experiment with various materiels such as chalk and graphite pencils. Many works are inspired by an interpretation of cloud formations and thier ever changing and unpredictable forms.
